There are more than one hundred and fifty known species of Wolf Spiders in Australia. Documentation of them is still sparse and I find trying to identify them quite difficult.

In many cases, arachnologists can identify different species only by examining their reproductive organs or by other microscopic examination.

Not being an arachnologist, not wanting to embarrass any spiders, and not wanting to get too familiar with a venomous creature, I have restricted myself to examining spiders with a camera.
